| Intrepid and trusted reporter; distinguished anchorman; dedicated and passionate journalist, Dan Rather has set the standards for broadcast reporting for over fifty years. In that time, he has covered nearly every major world news event, and is known for his tough reporting and tenacious investigative journalism. He endured dangerous situations in covering the wars in Vietnam, Afghanistan and the Persian Gulf, and was a major TV presence in reporting the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. He has interviewed every sitting U.S. President since Dwight D. Eisenhower as well as many world leaders. He currently hosts the weekly news program, Dan Rather Reports on HDNet. |
